It’s been awhile since I’ve had to use it, but let me reiterate… MT-Blacklist has to be the best tool in the world to get rid of people who like to post spam in the comments section of my (and any other) Movable Type weblog.
If you’re using Movable Type, and aren’t using MT-Blacklist, GET IT NOW!

Before I even knew what was happening, I tuned my radio at work off of talk radio, and onto a local Country station.
And what did I wear to work today? Cowboy Boots.
Help.

The good news is that it’s not an ear infection. It’s also not strep throat.
The bad news is… we’re not sure what it is. The Doctor isn’t sure if it’s a bacterial or viral infection. Either way, Brandon is now on medicine. Hopefully he’ll be feeling much better tomorrow.

It’s no fun being sick.
It’s no fun being sick when you’re out of town.
It’s no fun being sick when you’re out of town and five years old.
Please pray for Amanda as she drives a feverish boy back home to see his doctor.

I’m worried.
Usually by now, the Country fire has started to fade. But this morning I found myself flipping off of my usual Morning radio-show onto a Country station. And last night… I sat and watched a few minutes of Country Music Television.
I also have this sudden desire to wear a Cowboy Hat.
Help.

Flight to Dallas (en route to California): Surrounded by high-school volleyball *and* cheerleading teams, talking and laughing the entire time.
Flight from Dallas (en route from California): Surrounded by Mary-Kay conventioneers, talking and laughing the entire time. *And* trying to convince everyone around them that they too needed to be selling Mary Kay.
It’s good to be home.

Thanks to my friend Wes for pointing out that clanMcGraw.com was… “subtle” if you viewed it in the FireFox browser. So I downloaded FireFox (which I’d been thinking about doing anyways) and made a few tweaks here and there.
Now if I can just get used to using the CTRL-L combination instead of CTRL-O to type in a new URL, I could easily make the FireFox transition.

I don’t know why, but every 2-3 years I go through a kick where I absolutely love country music. It never lasts more than 3 weeks, but during those 3 weeks I am absolutely addicted to Country Music.
I’m currently in that phase. My namesake, Tim McGraw, is really speaking to me right now.
Help.

To all the people, on both coasts, who wished me a Happy Birthday yesterday… Thank you. It made my day.
I was a little depressed about having to spend my day in the air. But it did have a slight silver lining. After leaving the Dallas airport, we flew over some massive thunderstorms. It got a little rough at times, but I was able to watch lightning streak through clouds to our North for about 30 minutes. It was a truly incredible sight.

It was pretty weird turning on the TV this morning, and see my high school Chemistry teacher (Bing!) talking about salvaging a pre-historic creature’s skeleton, and the restoration work that he’d been doing on it.
