Pop Up Video

Earlier today, a friend forwarded me a link to an MTV web site that actually plays… music! I spent a few minutes reminiscing about old music videos. That was fun in and of itself, but then I found the real gem: VH1’s Pop Up Videos. I would always stop and watch these, whenever I channel-surfed across them.

Here’s one of a familiar video that you saw on clanMcGraw.com recently:

It’d be funny, if it weren’t true.

Cookie Monster for Congress

I saw recently where Hulu has added old Sesame Street content. I, like many others, grew up watching Bert & the gang on PBS (Channel 10).

I stumbled on this clip, and watched it because it was the first clip that I had vivid memories of watching as a kid.

However, as I watched it, I decided that Cookie Monster needs to run for Congress. At least he understands that when the train (our economy) derails, he has a job to deliver goods to the people counting on him (taxpayers), and actually does whatever it takes to help, instead of just helping himself to the goodies (pork).
