Noah Earley

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

Noah is a 7 year old boy at our Church. He was born with Downs Syndrome. He is one of the happiest, loving children that I have ever met.

In October, Noah was diagnosed with leukemia – Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) – to be exact. We’ve been praying for his recovery, and I ask you to do the same.

This morning, I got an email from a friend (Thanks, Jaime!!) that his parents have set up a Caring Bridge website for him. If you have a minute, I would ask that you take the time to visit it, and them a note to let them know you’re thinking about them and praying for them. I’ve also added the link to the left hand side of the page.

Hang in there, Noah! We’re praying for you!

Wedding Dance

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

This was too good not to pass along, especially since I received it today. It was 13 years ago today that I last saw my Mom and Dad dance together (though not like this), at Scott and Laurie‘s Wedding. Happy anniversary to both couples!

Think Evolution of Dance, but with a twist.

Environmentally Un-Friendly?

Who, me? After that last post?

Well, lest you think that I am a complete earth-trashing heathen, I invite you to read Birmingham Commuters Find Ways to Save Gas, in which I (and co-worker Jodey) are interviewed about how we’re carpooling to save money.

Easter Pictures

Here’s your obligatory ‘Kids in Easter Clothes picture:’

We were blessed to spend part of Easter with our Sunday School class at the Lawrences’ house. Pictures of all the kids in the Easter Egg-stravaganza are in the local gallery.
